Sarasota Yacht Club Activities

The Club is committed to providing our members with cultural and educational Activities and activity groups. Some of our cultural events include Sunday morning art tours at The Ringling and a Sarasota Ballet Backstage Tour. Other events include our lecture series, or feature guest speakers such as fashion designer Sigrid Olsen, the president of the Ringling College of Art + Design, or  Mote Marine scientists. The Club boasts more than 20 activity groups ranging from kayaking to  hot rod cars and golf to skeet shooting.

The Club offers a variety of interesting and entertaining activities for members to get together and have fun.

• Celebrate holidays at our “hallmark” events such as New Year’s Eve, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Docktoberfest, or others for a fun evening of dining, drinking, and dancing.
• If sporting events are your thing, join the club for its annual Super Bowl and Kentucky Derby parties.
• The club is always looking for ways to bring together people with common interests. These opportunities include activities such as Trivia Night, Comedy Night, Motown Night, Father/Daughter Dance, and Women on Wednesday, just to name a few.
