Swash Channel off Boca Grand
As of 11/18/07 this channel is open and has at least 6' at MLLW. Heading north the best course to take is to stay parallel to and about 25' off the abandoned pier. Then head towards the shore leaving the two 6' spots on the chart close to starboard. Then proceed north on heading of zero degrees for about 1.7nm past the micro tower to the tank about .35nm offshore before taking your heading to your final destination. Remember that Swash Channel can be very rough during heavy weather and there can be breaking waves which are to be avoided.
