The Sarasota Yacht Club has a deep commitment to the yachting tradition. Founded in 1926, SYC is one of the original 13 members of the Florida Council of Yacht Clubs. Members reflect that heritage: they are successful business and professional people from all parts of the United States and Europe. And because the club is member controlled, each member has a voice in the use and care of the club’s facilities and services. Membership spans age and professional experience. Camaraderie abounds.
